Brad Nelson is a former backyard samurai and blue jeans Zen master who spends
most of his time now on the back porch with his pipe and a cup of coffee. He
retired his sword and took up the pen after serving five years as an interrogator in the
U.S. Army. Brad is a creative writing MFA candidate at National University. His
literary endeavors are forthcoming through a number of online and print
publications—just as soon as he can decide where to send each piece.
Sheila Smith loves reading anything well written. She has been an omnivorous
reader for as long as she can remember, thanks to her father, who always made sure
she had a great book to read. Because of this, she really can’t get behind awful
writing, and has turned out to be the editor most difficult to impress. Brad calls her
the “Queen of NO!” Still, she is very impressed with all of the authors out there
actually brave enough not only to write, but to send us their pieces. Carry on!
Grampa Fitz is a 77-year-old retired high school and college composition
teacher who enjoys reading (and sometimes writing as well). New literary
efforts (especially short ones that he doesn't have to assign grades) are
especially interesting to him. With this bio you get the bonus of also seeing his
great (in every sense of the word) grandson, Hayden.
Deborah Dalcin is a web developer for the Archer Group. When not at work, she
enjoys writing web comics, building electronics that beep incessantly, and playing role-
playing games every Saturday with friends. Her favorite authors include Ray
Bradbury, Neal Stephenson, Robert Frost and Orson Scott Card. She attends WGU
and looks forward to graduating in the fall. One of her favorite quotes is: “The future
you have tomorrow won’t be the same future you had yesterday.”
Jason Smith knows where you live. He does many things well. He spends
most of his time at home or in his car. Jason is currently working on his
autoeulogy. He has shot a man dead. He is partial to things that make him
laugh, which is not an easy feat as he is not like you and me. Jason likes
sushi and will riffle through your bags if given the opportunity.
